sea.

we've tried so hard to belittle this vast empire

to separate ourself from existence

to make sense of every single aspect

and in doing so we've missed the beauty

we've missed our purpose

time is man made and essentially nonexistent

yet we run around day to day trying to make it all fit

like we won't wake up in the morning -

and maybe some won't

but does that mean life should be chaotic and crazy?

it already is mesmerizing and wild

the smaller beings have a world right under our noses

that we fail to realize because we aren't exposed

many forget that they're even there

because they've got the doors closed

but we are a part of that empire, vast and great

don't believe me? meditate

open your eye and see the world

let your desires and wants unfurl

let go of it all and drift with the wakes

and forget the idea of "better days"

you are a part of this miracle way

the universe gives us exactly what we need

in order to repay it, we must change our ways

spread love and compassion to everyone we meet

not hatred and violence to those on the street

even the birds can tell it's getting bad

when they're flying high above and they become mad

we're not destroying ourselves only, but a whole other colony

we have a greater purpose than greed and turmoil

such a beautiful world, with such ugly souls, what an anomaly

we're just so quick to allow our blood to boil

it is much bigger than you and I

and it extends far past the painted blue sky

it goes deeper than the deepest depths

and farther than the farthest universe

the stars didn't align so that we could destroy them

it is them who need us to see the light in the world

but if we blacken it with hatred and evil

soon everything will become dark

and there will be no more

no more birds in the sky

or leaves on the ground

no more people on the planet

no one to make a sound

we are the only proof that we ever existed

if we destroy that all now it will all be a myth

much like the God in the heavens

or the devil in hell

but wait, didn't they prevail?
