THE POWER OF INTENDING
Putting intention into something gives it more power than you could ever imagine.
We are constantly creating our reality, whether we realize it or not.
We are always utilizing intention, whether we realize it or not.
Having no intention is still an intention.
What we are not changing, we are choosing.
True intention comes from our emotions.
When we are in tune with our emotions, we are able to see our intention from a higher perspective, based on what we’re feeling, + analyze it accordingly, with love so that we may choose a more aligned, alternative course of action.
When we’re learning about the power of intention,
it’s important to understand the difference between surface level
“saying” intention + vibrational “feeling” intention.
Our feelings are how we create the world around us.
When we feel dis-ease around a certain topic, we create that same story in our external reality.
Sometimes, this causes an ample amount of resistance towards what we want.
That’s why it can be very beneficial to set general intentions for life.
When we have the general intention of “feeling good,” this energy goes into everything that we do.
We do things not to feel good, but because we already feel good.
Our feeling, our intention, then is to feel good.
Feeling good is love.
So when we hold that intention generally, for all things that we do, we are spewing love out into the universe in such a profound way.
It is instantly a goldmine of abundance.
It can be difficult to keep ourselves accountable when we have so many personal opinions about happenings, events, circumstances.
That’s why being specific can sometimes be detrimental to receiving what we want.
We think we can’t have it, so it doesn’t come.
We think we aren’t worthy, so we aren’t worthy.
Love is worthy.
Love is always worthy.
We are love.
When we show the universe that we are in tune with our true, natural vibration,
we are immediately rewarded by a manifestation of good-feeling thoughts, actions + movements.
Intending to feel good is one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself + everyone around you.
Intending to feel good ALWAYS, but especially before specific encounters that you know may sway your vibration in a direction you don’t want to be headed, can completely alter the course or destination of sed encounter.
This is something Abraham Hicks calls segment intending:
taking a few seconds to set the intention of feeling good before switching to a new segment.
We are always changing segments.
We are busy beings, after all.
The conscious recognition of the segment changing is enough to say
“what would my preferred outcome be here, for this next segment?”
what do i really want?
well, i want to feel good.
i feel good now, so it is logical to me that i will feel good in a few moments when i begin doing this new thing.
and the thing after that. and after that.
soon enough, it becomes a game of how good you can feel.
not because you NEED to feel good, but because you are aware of your abundant nature + your ability to create the life you desire.
